וַיֹּ֤אמֶר צִיבָא֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ כְּכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְצַוֶּ֜ה אֲדֹנִ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֶת־עַבְדּ֔וֹ כֵּ֖ן יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ וּמְפִיבֹ֗שֶׁת אֹכֵל֙ עַל־שֻׁלְחָנִ֔י כְּאַחַ֖ד מִבְּנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
Quindi disse Ziba al re: 'Secondo tutto ciò che il mio signore il re comanda al suo servo, così farà il tuo servo; ma Mephibosheth mangia al mio tavolo come uno dei re'figli di s.'
Rashi on II Samuel
So will your servant do. Mephivoshes will eat at my table. Tsivoh said, "So will your servant do." And Dovid responded, "Mephivoshes will eat at my table."2The verse contains the words of two separate speakers, Tzivoh is speaking in the first part of the verse and Dovid responds in the second part.
